Enkele kleine nieuwtjes

- Ghost Recon Online will be called Ghost Recon Online Arcade
- LEGO City Stories could be a launch title
- Ubisoft Paris is working on a Wii U game, which is probably a Rabbids project
- Someone at THQ is creating a AAA game for Wii U, PS3, and 360; team isn’t specified; Darksiders II or Metro: Last Light are possible, but aren’t confirmed (could be something else entirely)

Nintendo zou een nieuwe IP publiceren genaamd, Acid Ghost. Neem dit echter met een stevige korrel zout, maar dit zouden de zogezegde eerste details zijn:

- being developed by one of Kuju Entertainment's teams
- originally intended to be published by Konami for the Xbox 360/PS3
- game features a dark sense of humor
- takes place on a cruise ship
- play as an invisible evil spirit that haunts and terrorizes passengers on the ship

Wat meer geruchten over de Wii U

- Third-parties studios are currently receiving Wii U "Blu-ray" readers, writers, and discs
- demos at E3 are to be on discs, as per Nintendo's requests
- there was a delay in the shipping of this equipment, which had devs waiting a few weeks
- they didn't came with the latest dev kits
- the latest dev kits still have the disc drive separate
- No confirmation nor denial of 50GB discs capacity
- Wii U units at E3 2012 will include optical drives
- Wii U games were developed on dev kits linked to a host pc (running the SDK, the development tools, etc.)
- it's possible the access/loading times were emulated
- Wii U dev kit sizes have stayed mostly the same during development
- future dev kit versions may have the disc drive included in the hardware

Gerucht: Wii U cpu 20x zo krachtig dan Wii cpu

Cpu gebaseerd op de IBM 710 Express Power 7 chip, maar ondergeklokt en wat aangepast:

- Quad-core 3 Ghz processor met 4 kernen en 8 threads (standaard was de 710 een hexa core met een kloksnelheid van 3.7Ghz en 16 threads)


- Op papier lijkt dit maar 50% sneller dan de huidige generatie, maar door de architectuur en nieuwere technieken/aanpassingen zal het verschil beduidend groter zijn.

Het is al een paar weken geleden gezegd dat die niet op de E3 zullen prijsgegeven worden.

Wii hebben ze ook pas in september of oktober een prijs gegeven en die was in no time uitverkocht. Er is maar een ding echt belangrijk tijdens deze E3 en dat zijn: games

De geruchten worden wilder. Dit is een vrij ongeloofwaardig, maar desalniettemin interessant gerucht.

Square-Enix zal een Kingdom Hearts HD Remix uitbrengen op de Wii U (ook PS3,PSV volgens de bron)

Deze remix bevat KH 1, 2, de GBA-versie Chain of Memories, 358/2 Days en Birth By Sleep
Daarnaast zouden er enkele nieuwe sidequests toegevoegd worden en zal de Wii U-versie een speciale link naar Kingdom Hearts 3D bevatten.

I agree with Phazon. Wat ik nu op de E3 wil zien zijn prachtige games met dito graphics! Dan kan de prijs/release me nog wel even gestolen worden. Nu eerst indruk maken met wat de console zal kunnen en zal doen.

Gerucht: Minstens een franchise van Blizzard zou naar de Wii U komen

v-My source was told by his industry contacts that Blizzard has two unannounced games in the works "that cannot [yet] be discussed" that are scheduled to be released by year's end.

Now, speculation from my source (a fellow Gaffer who wants to protect his sources) based on what he knows about his contacts:
-He is confident that at least one of them is for Wii U, if not both.
-He believes Blizzcon 2012 was cancelled for more reasons than just to focus on SC2 and Diablo 3. If Blizzard had more titles coming out by the end of the year, why would they not show it off at their own show? Unless their hands were tied by heavy-duty NDAs...the kind Nintendo likes to issue...
-He believes Diablo III and StarCraft II are the safest guesses: Diablo III is, of course, officially confirmed to be coming to consoles, but Blizzard won't say which ones (NDA again?).
-His more "crazy-out-there" theory (again, all pieced together from hints dropped by his own sources and what he knows about them) is the MMO Project "Titan," which he believes might have a Free-to-Play model (downloadable from the Wii U eShop-equivalent) with microtransaction support and possibly NFC items at retail.

(tbh: facepalm als het echt is, want dan is het juist hetzelfde als Wii-games. Lang leve verwarring )
